The AG 5500 is a turnkey, high performance platform designed for large public access HotSpots and municipal HotZones. The AG 5500 is transport agnostic and enables the deployment of wired, wireless or hybrid networks supporting up to 2,000 simultaneous users.

The AG 5500 series run the NSE Core and offer several NSE Module and User Count Upgrades so they can grow as your network and users change.  The AG 5500 series are dedicated network appliances providing maximum uptime and reliability unlike competitive offerings that are server-based that can be plagued with long reboot and set up times or run Operating Systems that are susceptible to virus attacks.

The AG 5500 series are standard 1U high, rack mountable device that employs one fast Ethernet port to interface with the router (network side) and two fast Ethernet ports to interface with the aggregation equipment (subscriber side) within the HotSpot/HotZone. The AG 5500 series have one DB9 serial port for link to both Port Management and to a hotel’s Property Management System.
