The SMCAMP-1000 is a 2.4GHz 1 Watt Power over Ethernet Amplifier for SMCs High Gain Antenna solutions. The SMCAMP-1000 is PoE compatible (using SMCAMP-INJ) and supports all long-range applications. Designed to increase signal strength and extend the operating distance of SMCs High Gain Antenna solutions, the SMCAMP-1000 provides the simplest way to achieve low installation cost and maximum performance. Now you can place your antenna at the locations you require, without having to run long lengths of low-loss RF coaxial cable. Instead, you can use common Category 5 wire and remotely power your antenna. Simply connect your wired Ethernet to the SMCAMP-1000 and power is injected onto the Ethernet cable. The POE Bi-Directional Amplifier uses this power to operate itself and provide DC power to an external antenna.
