Modular - replaceable surge suppressor - fits with the APC PRM 4 and PRM 24 surge suppression chassis. GigE surge suppressor with mid-span POE insert/extract. Configuration via jumper plugs allow any combination of polarity and pair use with up to 1.25 amps per pair. If all 8 wires are configured as the same polarity, 5 amps can be conveyed. This device will power 802.3af/at devices or extract power from a POE powered circuit. Shielded RJ45 jacks provide grounds to shielded plugs.
