Note: 2 TRSEoIP TDMoIP Muxes are needed to make one link. One TRSEoIP for each side
The Techaya TRSEoIP encapsulates TDM based services from users ports (E1/FE1 or T1/FT1) into packet-switched networks. TDM Over PSN enables the connection of PBXs, Cellular Backhaul and Telecom switches over WANs, LANs, MANs, Satellite PON and Wireless Ethernet. The TRSEoIP transparent capabilities enable to support Proprietary signaling, required for military applications and metropolitan PBX Features such as call conferences, call forwarding, caller ID and SS7. Legacy System equipment investment is preserved.
The TRSEoIP supports transport of unframed, full structured or fractional E1/T1 Service together with user Fast Ethernet data over high speed Ethernet, IP, PON or MPLS infrastructures.
The TRSEoIP ships with one or four E1/T1 interfaces and three 10/100BaseT Ethernet Interfaces (one for LAN, one for WAN and out of band management). The E1/T1 Interfaces provide independent protocol, QoS, packet sizing, buffering, clocking, Framing, delay and jitter parameters for channel settings. The TRSEoIP comply With the IETF SAToP/CESoPSN and MEF-8/CESoETH.
Advaced Features
Grooming The TRSEoIP supports time slots grooming technology, enabling to Work in a Point To Multipoint configurations, where a group of time slots can Be sent to a port on one target TRSEoIP and another group of time slots from The same E1 interface, can be sent to a different TRSEoIP device.
Bandwidth Control The TRSEoIP enables bandwidth control on the LAN and WAN Ports to support QoS capabilities along with TOS and VLAN ID awareness.

Cellular Backhaul over Ethernet, IP or MPLS
Traditional 2G, 2.5G and 3G basestations are connected to basestation controllers Through multiple E1/T1 lines. In an effort to reduce operation costs, carriers Areincreasingly replacing these E1/T1 access links with packet-based connections Such as fixed wireless or Gigabit Ethernet fiber. It is clear that the next Generation trend is toward a packet based network environment to handle 3G’s Cellular traffic. CES-Over-Packet technology embedded in Techaya's TRSEoIP offers An ideal solution for seamlessly carrying TDM traffic over those new Ethernet, IP or MPLS networks.
Since providing synchronous TDM circuit emulation services with clock synchronization Across an asynchronous packet network is a primary concern, the TRSEoIP supports Built-in G.823 And G.824 Compliant synchronization mechanism. The TRSEoIP is Optimized to minimize latency while maximizing bandwidth utilization in a bandwidth Limited environment; what makes it the best choice for cellular operators. |
E1/T1 over Broadband Networks
Companies that are able to provide IP or Ethernet access networks generate new revenue by offering traditional E1/T1 leased line and private line services over IP: |
Metropolitan Area Networks Metropolitan carriers with IP, MPLS or Ethernet networks deliver traditional leased line and private line services. These carriers can now deliver new services of E1/T1 over their existing infrastructure moving towards Triple-Play solutions and generate new revenues.
Utilities Utilities generate new revenue by offering traditional E1/T1 leased line and private line services over their fiber or power line networks.
Cable Operators Cable operators connect traditional E1/T1 leased line and private line services over their Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) cable networks enabling to offer tripleplay solutions.
Incumbent Carriers Telco's reduce costs by delivering profitable leased and private line services over their flexible Ethernet infrastructures.
CLEC PBX Back Haul The TRSEoIP provides CLECs with a way to back haul E1/T1 DS0s from a customer's phone systems over their Internet connection. The back hauled DS0s are connected to the CLECs phone switch for connection to the Public Switched Telephone Networks. Local Exchange Carriers are able to offer an economical alternative to the local Phone Company.
CES-over-Packet in broadband networks The TRSEoIP can be deployed across any virtually broadband network. Whether you got EPON network, FTTH, FTTC, FTTB Techaya's TRSEoIP can act as your ONU, IAD or ONT. As DSL is the world's most widely deployed network Techaya TRSEoIP can extend the reach of backhaul E1/T1s and DSLAM traffic from remote sites over an IP-based network, along with E1/T1 services for SOHO or smallText enterprise require more then a single phone line.
Wireless Ethernet Thanks to the maturity of Wi-Fi and Wi-MAX technology, eliminating the wired connection for the E1/T1 based communication equipment is made possible with the TRSEoIP E1/T1 over Ethernet capability.
