It worked Review by Luis
Value Installation Quality It makes no sense to me why more products are not MIMO capable like these. We used 6 of these for 3 separate PtP connections at one location. The built in software is outstanding with spectrum analyzer and waveform and waterfall readouts. Had to do some research on the Ubiquiti forums though to get an idea of ideal setups. Only doing short hops, 150 feet at the most, but we needed to push through megapixel video feeds from cameras mounted on light poles totaling 40mbps from each pole back to the building. The built in speed test says we were getting over 120mbps actual throughput to work with, and video performance seems to be performing up to specs. We did have one unit that went bad after a couple days and we had to replace it, but so far for a couple weeks now everything seems to be fine.
I can't believe some of these $1000 and some $10,000 PtP products out! We didn't need long range, only short range but high throughput. Even if we have to replace maybe one or two of these a year, compare $474 total for six of these to $5,400 total for say Airaya, and most other products aren't even MIMO capable!
