The MCT 4X4SS-TWR Surge protector protects put to 4 CAT5/c and 4 DC power circuits with one single device designed for outdoor use and suitable for either tower or wall mounting. This product is a 100% Gas Discharge Tube version of surge suppression products is more robust to ground sourced noise. This product will cure customer issues with CRC or Fram Check errors caused by solid state surge suppressors when swapped for a solid state product. Grounded and bonded shieded RJ45 jacks provide grounds to shielded products. This device is not designed to protect APs and SMS installed at NOCs or tower sites where a number of devices are colocated.
