XProtect LPR is a license plate recognition software which links a license plate number with video around the world by detecting the license plate information on a vehicle. This simple solution is an ideal way to control vehicle access, such as entrance and exit barriers, parking spaces and toll gates. Notifications are sent to inform the user of when a specific license plate number is detected, enabling the user to take action quickly and effectively. With the additional ability to define both positive and negative lists certain actions can be initiated, such as opening a gate, when certain license plate information is detected, increasing productivity though automating tasks.
XProtect LPR is an add-on product that is configured and managed through supported XProtect video management software (VMS) products, excluding XProtect Essential and XProtect Essential +.
